Security
How we protect your money and data, and what you can do to stay safe.
How we protect you
- Verified customers. We confirm who you are before your first transfer, and may ask for more information for larger amounts.
- Screened transfers. Every sender, recipient and transfer is checked against sanctions lists and fraud rules. Sometimes this means we ask you about a transfer before it goes.
- Two-step sign-in. Turn it on to require a code from an authenticator app each time you sign in.
- Automatic sign-out. Your account signs you out after 15 minutes without activity.
- Alerts. We message you when a transfer is sent and paid out, and when your security settings change.
Stop: is this a scam?
- Never send money to someone you have only met online, or to claim a prize, a job or a loan
- Be wary of anyone who pressures you to send quickly or to keep it secret
- If someone asks you to pay "the bank", "the police" or "the tax office" by money transfer, it is a scam
- Check a request from a friend or relative by calling them on a number you already know
What we will never do
- Ask for your password or two-step code by phone, email or text
- Ask you to send money to us or to anyone else to "unlock" a transfer
